Abstract
⺠A new recombinant ECD disintegrin named leucurogin is described. ⺠Leucurogin is able to strongly inhibit collagen-induced platelet aggregation. ⺠At 10 μg/day it inhibited 82% of the vascularization process in a sponge implant model. ⺠Growth of Ehrlich tumor was 53% inhibited after 7 days administration of 10 μg/day. ⺠Leucurogin is active independently of the cysteine rich domain.
