Abstract
► A new recombinant ECD disintegrin named leucurogin is described. ► Leucurogin is able to strongly inhibit collagen-induced platelet aggregation. ► At 10 μg/day it inhibited 82% of the vascularization process in a sponge implant model. ► Growth of Ehrlich tumor was 53% inhibited after 7 days administration of 10 μg/day. ► Leucurogin is active independently of the cysteine rich domain.
