Abstract
►Rhynocoris marginatus venomous saliva (VS) has insecticidal activity. ►VS highly affects Spodoptera litura when injected rather than oral administration. ►VS reduced food consumption, assimilation and utilization efficiency of the pest. ►Reduviid VS reduce and increase hydrolyze and detoxication enzymes respectively. ►Anti-aggregation factors of VS alters prey haemocytes aggregation and spreading.
