Abstract
⺠We explored control of Prymnesium parvum using six newly available herbicides. ⺠Flumioxazin was further investigated during two in-lake experiments. ⺠Flumioxazin caused significant decreases in P. parvum during bloom initiation. ⺠Deleterious effects to other plankton were not significant. ⺠Flumioxazin was less effective when applied during a period of turbid waters.
