Abstract
⺠We used high throughput technology at the transcriptomic level to get a complete view of a cone snail venom duct transcriptome. ⺠We discovered new conopeptide families and new scaffolds. ⺠We observed dramatic variation of transcription level between the different isoforms. ⺠Beyond conopeptides, this study provides new highlights on the compounds which could play a role in the venom function. ⺠From this point, we could expand the definition of the cone snail's venoms.
