Abstract
⺠We identified three Kunitz-type protease inhibitors named Pr-mulgins 1, 2, and 3. ⺠Pr-mulgin 1 specifically inhibited MMP2 activity. ⺠Pr-mulgins 2 and 3 showed potent inhibition to some serine proteases. ⺠Pr-mulgins 1, 2, and 3 had essentially no effect on K+ channels (Shaker and Kv 1.1).
