Abstract
⺠Sex of donor fibroblasts has no effect on the gaur-bovine iSCNT embryo development. ⺠Donor fibroblasts mtDNA could be detected during all developmental stages. ⺠Gaur-bovine iSCNT fetuses and an offspring transmitted both population of mtDNA. ⺠Varying degrees of heteroplasmy were observed in the iSCNT fetuses and an offspring. ⺠High percent of donor cell mtDNA does not guarantee the success of iSCNT offspring.
