Abstract
⺠Presented is a summery of the conference “Mitochondria in Biology and Medicine”. ⺠Mitochondria are proposed as target for potent anticancer therapies. ⺠Correct mitochondrial function can be used to prevent/revert premature aging. ⺠Haplotyping of mtDNA serve as indicators for migration and disease susceptibility.
