Abstract
Schematic of an eccrine sweat gland secretory coil (middle), the de novo tubular-like structures in Matrigel plugs (left) and human native eccrine sweat gland secretory coils (right). The de novo tubular-like structures have one or more hollow lumens with myoepithelial cells and a basement membrane surrounding the tubular-like structures, and express cell junction proteins and enzymes that are identical to the secretory coils of native eccrine sweat glands.206
