Abstract
► Invadolysin is a conserved metalloprotease linking cell division and migration. ► Morpholino-induced knockdown of invadolysin perturbs cell migration in zebrafish. ► Specifically, neuromast deposition and melanophore migration are disrupted. ► Additionally, angiogenic formation of blood vessels is perturbed in early embryos. ► All observed phenotypes can be rescued by co-expression of wild type transcript.
