Abstract
⺠Invadolysin is a conserved metalloprotease linking cell division and migration. ⺠Morpholino-induced knockdown of invadolysin perturbs cell migration in zebrafish. ⺠Specifically, neuromast deposition and melanophore migration are disrupted. ⺠Additionally, angiogenic formation of blood vessels is perturbed in early embryos. ⺠All observed phenotypes can be rescued by co-expression of wild type transcript.
