Abstract
⺠Aggressive oral SCC cell lines respond to hypoxia by increased invasion more efficiently than benign ones. ⺠Human 3-dimensional invasion model was proven to provide a hypoxic microenvironment mimicking the natural tumor surroundings. ⺠The invasion pattern of oral SCC depends on the composition of the surroundings.
