Abstract
⺠We show the role of flagellin/TLR5 responses in mucus hypersecretion. ⺠The study shows the interaction of TLR5 and EGFR in airway inflammatory diseases. ⺠It shows Duox2 is involved in P. aeruginosa-induced mucus hypersecretion. ⺠It brings new insights into the molecular pathogenesis of P. aeruginosa infections. ⺠It leads to therapeutic intervention for P. aeruginosa-induced mucin hypersecretion.
