Abstract
► The peptic-tryptic digest of gluten is known as Frazer's Fraction (FF). ► FF triggers intestinal celiac disease in genetically predisposed individuals. ► FF gliadin peptides alter actin filament morphology by direct interaction with actin. ► FF treatment leads to impairment of actin-dependent protein trafficking. ► FF gliadin peptides directly influence the binding of actin to Arp2.
