Abstract
- Expression of HSD17B1 in tissues obtained from NSCLC patients was investigated.
- Association between HSD17B1 level and clinicopathological features has been made.
- Significance of HSD17B1 in NSCLC was examined by employing Calu-1, A549 cell lines.
- Significant upregulation of HSD17B1 was found in squamous cell carcinoma patients.
- Enhanced E2 production supported male squamous cell carcinoma proliferation.
