Abstract
⺠The absolute amount of the transcript for GST-P2 is higher in M. spretus than in M. musculus. ⺠Mice living in polluted areas showed higher amounts of transcripts for both GST-P1 and GST-P2. ⺠Up-regulation of MsGstp2 might be due to species-specific differences in cis-regulatory motifs. ⺠The MsGstp2 product might be a fully active GST enzyme because of a Pro12-Arg12 change.
