Abstract
⺠Pulmonary TB patients under treatment present DNA damage, which diminished during treatment. ⺠The antioxidant capacity of individuals TB is higher than controls and reduced during treatment. ⺠TB patients presented expression inhibition of iNOS in relation at controls. ⺠DNA damage and elevated antioxidant enzyme activity probably is associated with other free radicals.
