Chronic stimulation of rat adult cardiomyocytes with hormones signalling through Gq proteins induces cellular remodelling associated with increased arrhythmogenicity (ECT-extra calcium transients) (A), malfunctional calcium handling (B) and altered gene expression (DIV-days in vitro) (C).
