- The Ca2+ release is attenuated by the RyR inhibitor dantrolene.
- Bile acid taurocholate (TCA) directly opens RyR type 1.
- TCA inhibits SERCA activity.
- TCA may contribute to Ca2+ overload in pancreatitis by activating RyR directly.
