Abstract
► Resistance exercise modulates the migration and apoptosis of T lymphocytes. ► CD8+ lymphocyte apoptosis and migration present a higher responsiveness than CD4+. ► Apoptosis and migration of CD4+ and CD8+ lymphocytes remain elevated 24 h after bout. ► CD4+ and CD8+ cell count cell no change immediately, 2 and 24 h after exercise.
