Abstract
⺠Integrin-based adhesions are dynamic signalling hubs. ⺠Integrin activation molecules play a key role in regulating adhesion assembly. ⺠Adhesions vary in size and stability depending on molecular composition. ⺠Integrins trigger specific signalling to promote adhesion turnover. ⺠Adhesion turnover is temporally regulated depending on subcellular localisation.
