Abstract
⺠Anterior NC axis orientation is observed in many, but not all migrating cells. ⺠MT organization, vesicle trafficking and nuclear movement are NC axis effectors. ⺠NC axis orientation requires separate positioning of the centrosome and the nucleus. ⺠Substrate topology and cell-cell junctions affect NC axis orientation. ⺠Proper NC axis orientation is functionally important for the migration of some cells.
