Choosing the right type of serum for different applications of human adipose tissue-derived stem cells: influence on proliferation and differentiation abilities

Culturing ADSCs in human serum appears to be a reasonable and efficient alternative compared with FCS. With respect to the outcome of a sighted clinical application, it appears to be feasible to handle the cells in a serum suitable for the intended later use.
