Abstract
⺠KLF4 stimulates adipogenesis by activating C/EBPβ with Krox20. ⺠KLF6 promotes preadipocyte differentiation through HDAC3 inhibition of Dlk1. ⺠KLF5, KLF9, and KLF15 stimulate adipocyte differentiation via transactivating PPARγ. ⺠KLF2 inhibits PPARγ, whereas KLF3 represses C/EBPα and CtBP during adipogenesis. ⺠KLF7 inhibits adipogenesis by decreasing the expression of both PPARγ and C/EBPα.
