Abstract
⺠Deletion of Sin3A in the germ cell lineage leads to male sterility. ⺠Sin3A-deleted testes acquire a Sertoli cell only phenotype. ⺠Sin3A prevents apoptosis in male germ cells resuming mitosis at birth. ⺠Germ cell loss triggered by Sin3A deletion affects the Sertoli cells expression program.
