Abstract
⺠ADAM13 metalloproteinase activity plays important roles in early eye field formation and normal eye morphogenesis in Xenopus. ⺠ADAM13 controls eye development through regulating EfnB and Wnt signaling. ⺠snail2 and cerberus are downstream of Wnt to mediate ADAM13 function in eye development.
