Abstract
⺠Combined lack of MMP9 and uPA activity is critical for tissue remodeling. ⺠MMP9 and uPA are important for gestation and tissue repair. ⺠Tissue- and event-specific functional redundancy between MMP9 and uPA. ⺠Compensatory upregulation of uPA during wound healing in the absence of MMP9.
