Abstract
⺠Pattern of active Wnt/β-catenin signaling during salivary gland development. ⺠Branching arrested by ectopic Wnt/β-catenin signaling in salivary epithelium. ⺠Lack of FGF signaling leads to ectopic canonical and non-canonical Wnt signaling in the epithelium. ⺠Non-canonical Wnt signaling mediated by Wnt5b ligand induces Cp2l1 expression. ⺠FGF signaling induces expression of the Wnt inhibitor sFRP1 in endbud cells.
