Abstract
►How the atypical cadherin Flamingo regulates neurite growth is poorly understood. ►We show that prickle, a PCP gene, interacts with flamingo to promote axon growth. ►The cytoplasmic tail of the Flamingo protein is not required for this interaction. ►Dishevelled, another core PCP gene, is probably involved in this process.
