Abstract
⺠A distal enhancer of Gata4 is active in cardiac lineages in mouse embryos. ⺠Activity of the Gata4 cardiac enhancer restricts to the endocardium by E9.5. ⺠The Gata4 cardiac enhancer is dependent on four ETS binding sites. ⺠The Gata4 cardiac enhancer is bound by ETS factors Ets1 and Erg. ⺠We examine the expression of all ETS genes in the mouse embryonic heart at E8.5.
