Abstract
⺠Pitx2c has a role balancing Pax3+/Pax7+ cell populations during myogenesis. ⺠Only Pitx2c but not Pitx3 modulates cell proliferation and Pax genes expression. ⺠Pitx2c regulates Pax3 acting by repressing miR-27.
