Abstract
⺠Classical nuclear import may provide a novel regulatory mechanism during myogenesis. ⺠Five karyopherin alpha paralogs are expressed in primary mouse skeletal muscle cells. ⺠KPNA paralogs differentially regulate myoblast proliferation and myotube size.
