Abstract
⺠Beta-catenin controls neuroepithelial integrity and differentiation in midbrain. ⺠Loss of beta-catenin de-regulates mitotic spindle orientation. ⺠This leads to premature differentiation of neuroepithelial progenitors. ⺠GSK3 phosphorylated beta-catenin localizes to centrosomes of progenitors.âºIt is required for apical-basal polarity and centrosome maintenance.
