Abstract
⺠Stromelysin-3 is up regulated genes in the exocrine pancreas at metamorphosis of X. laevis tadpoles. ⺠Expressing stromelysin-3 in the exocrine pancreas induces acinar to duct cell transformation. ⺠Expressing activated Notch in the exocrine pancreas by transgenesis gives the identical result.
