Abstract
âºThe yolk sac in chato mutants has bubble-like protrusions. âºchato disrupts allantoic extension, preventing chorioallantoic attachment. âºchato causes an expansion of the chorion and failure of the ectoplacental cavity to close. âºZfp568 is required in embryonic-derived tissues, including extraembryonic mesoderm. âºZfp568 controls the expression of factors required for morphogenesis of extraembryonic tissues.
