Abstract
⺠The role of vad-5 in conidiation was confirmed by gene complementation. ⺠The genes responsive to vad-5 deletion were analyzed by DEG profiling. ⺠The roles of 132 genes down-regulated in the vad-5 deletion mutant in conidiation were analyzed. ⺠The roles of 211 genes upregulated in the vad-5 deletion mutant in conidiation were analyzed. ⺠The possible mechanisms by which vad-5 influences conidiation were discussed.
