Abstract
⺠After MI, increased mncCD26 expression is associated with decreased LV recovery. ⺠Increased mncCD26 is associated with decreased in vitro migration capacities. ⺠Inhibition of CD26 with sitagliptin improves in vitro homing capacities of MNCs. ⺠Early post MI treatment with sitagliptin may increase MNC homing to the infarct area.
