Abstract
⺠MicroRNA profiles in cardiac progenitor cells (CPCs) are distinct developmentally. ⺠The predicted protein targets are predominantly involved in cellular proliferation. ⺠The proliferative capacity of neonatal CPCs is higher than adult CPCs. ⺠Over-expression of miR-17-92 increases the proliferation in adult CPCs. ⺠A cohort of microRNAs may predict differences in cellular proliferation in CPCs.
