Abstract
⺠We have analyzed the role of CB2 during atherogenesis in mice. ⺠CB2 deficiency aggravates atherogenesis. ⺠Activation of CB2 attenuates atherogenesis. ⺠CB2 mediates beneficial effects on vascular and inflammatory cells in vitro. ⺠CB2 deficiency is associated with altered vascular levels of endocannabinoids.
