Abstract
⺠The role of mitochondrial tubulin beta II and its role in respiration regulation are described. ⺠Mitochondrial tubulin beta II is rapidly removed by short proteolytic treatment of permeabilized cardiomyocytes. ⺠Removal of tubulin increases the permeability of outer mitochondrial membrane for ADP. ⺠Quality tests for isolated cardiomyocytes are described.
