Abstract
⺠In virus myocarditis treatment with a CyPA-inhibitor affects lesion area and collagen. ⺠Macrophage, T cell infiltration and MMP9 expression were reduced by CyPA inhibition. ⺠Similar effects are found using CyPAâ/â mice in comparison to WT mice. ⺠CyPA may represent a target to modulate myocardial remodeling in myocarditis.
