Abstract
⺠We exploited next-gen sequencing for a comprehensive cardiac mRNA and miRNA profiling. ⺠We revealed the transcriptome signature of the cardiac protective effects of PI3Kα. ⺠Increased PI3Kα signaling normalizes miRNA/mRNA expression with pathological LVH. ⺠PI3Kα reduces cardiac fibrosis through modulating TGF-β pathway and miR-21 expression. ⺠We identified multiple novel miRNAs linked to remodeling in cardiac hypertrophy.
