Abstract
⺠Endogenous repressors of cardiac hypertrophy receive less attention than inducers. ⺠The number of repressors has grown rapidly in the last few years. ⺠Repressors counterbalance prohypertrophic signaling or transcription. ⺠Understanding inhibitory pathways may provide valuable therapeutic options for heart disease.
