Abstract
⺠β-blockade improves of left ventricular diastolic and coronary dysfunctions in rats with metabolic syndrome. ⺠Enhanced NO bio-availability is involved in the improvement of LV diastolic dysfunction by β-blockers. ⺠Both coronary endothelial and LV diastolic dysfunctions observed in metabolic syndrome are improved by β-blockade.
