Abstract
⺠We have analyzed and mapped the proteome and secretome of human EPCs. ⺠Few secreted proteins discriminated EPCs from monocytes and HUVECs. ⺠For the secretome, "platelets alpha granule" was returned as the top category. ⺠The presence of platelet alpha granules was confirmed by electron microscopy. ⺠The cathepsin L inhibitor stimulated the secretion of S100 proteins.
