Abstract
⺠Curcumin ameliorates diabetic nephropathy in the STZ-induced diabetic rats. ⺠Curcumin inhibits the SphK1-S1P signaling pathway in the diabetic rat kidneys. ⺠Curcumin inhibits the SphK1-S1P signaling pathway in GMCs exposed to HG. ⺠Curcumin inhibits SphK1-S1P-mediated FN and TGF-β1 overproduction. ⺠The effect of curcumin may be closely related to the inhibition of AP-1 activity.
