Abstract
⺠C-peptide induces human renal mesangial cell proliferation. ⺠Activation of PI-3 kinase and MAP kinase signaling pathway are involved in this process. ⺠C-peptide induces cyclin D1 expression and phosphorylation of retinoblastoma protein.
