Abstract
⺠Structural disorder is prevalent in proteins of signaling and regulatory functions. ⺠IDPs bind their partners with high specificity and low affinity, and evolve fast. ⺠IDPs represent the flexibility and adaptability required in signaling and regulation. ⺠NHRs are regulators of cell signaling that heavily rely on structural disorder.
