Abstract
⺠Chronic alcohol exposure can adversely affect neuronal morphology, synaptic architecture and associated neuroplasticity. ⺠A total of 28 proteins were significantly altered in the striatum of 8 month beer drinking rats relative to controls. ⺠Five of the total identified proteins were involved in dopamine-related pathways.
