Abstract
⺠Dopamine increases GSH levels in neuroblastoma cells. ⺠Dopamine elicits GSH release from astrocytoma cells. ⺠l-Dopa can elicit a similar effect in the neuronal but not astrocytic cells. ⺠Dopamine and GSH metabolism appear to be closely linked. ⺠Increasing dopamine availability may benefit GSH status.
