Abstract

âº Cellular factor XIII is involved in optic nerve regeneration. âº Transient increase of cFXIII levels in retinal ganglion cells (RGCs) promotes neurite sprouting from injured RGCs. âº Sustained increase of cFXIII in optic nerves facilitates neurite elongation from regrowing axons.
