Abstract
⺠We obtained the κ-carrageenan oligosaccharides by enzyme degradation. ⺠The κ-carrageenan oligosaccharides were determined by HPLC, ESI-TOF-MS and 13C NMR. ⺠Activated-microglia cells can promote the development of neurodegeneration disease. ⺠The oligosaccharides can inhibit the activity of the LPS-stimulated microglia cells. ⺠We hypothesize that the effect of the oligosaccharides related to the sulfate groups.
